Magnum was recently involved with another of City and County of Swansea Council's events. A two-day event at Brangwyn Hall saw a headline
set from The Automatic on day one and Killing For Company on day Two.
All PA and lighting requirements were met by Magnum's production staff. A Logic System 18k PA system was installed to handle FOH sound and
mixing was done using a Soundcraft MH2. Some interesting outboard and FX were brought in for headline acts including an Eventide H3000. A
combination of a Yamaha LS9 and Soundcraft LX7 were tasked with monitor duties due to the compact monitor mixing area. The lighting
production relied somewhat on the in-house rig (mainly for key lighting) but was complemented by the addition of Robe moving heads, PAR
lanterns and an Atomic strobe.
The second day was mostly dedicated to local bands. Stuart Cable's own 'Killing for Company" played a particularly high-energy set
enthusing the crowd. Just months before his untimely death, the ex Stereophonics drummer was clearly seen to enjoy performing in front of
the lively crowd.
