World Party Weekend in Swansea Calls for Ethos VA

Another of the City and County of Swansea Special Events team’s summer celebrations was the World Party Weekend held at the National Waterfront Museum in the city. An event designed to celebrate the multicultural population of the city saw a hugely diverse range of performances. Traditional Chinese dance, Samba music and classical Spanish guitar were just some of the colourful and different acts featured during the two-day festival.

Magnum provided a 12k Logic System Ethos VA PA rig to cover front of house which, though not the most power-hungry system, easily covered the audience area with smooth, crisp vocal and thumping low end when required. A small lighting rig was also installed by Magnum to highlight performers and add some effect to the dance numbers. This rig consisted of two bars of 6 PAR 64s and 4 Robe 575AT moving heads. Engineers were present throughout the event to operate sound and lighting.
