We know that the equipment used in our industry needs to be as reliable as possible because most of the time it’s used for specific events at
specific times with an audience of some sort present. Failure of a sound system when a crowd of 500 are waiting to hear the band is commercial suicide
for any promoter. We know owners of nightclubs and bars cannot afford for their sound and lighting systems to let them down during busy periods.
Occasional users of their equipment such as schools are more vulnerable to systems failing at crucial times e.g. during school performances because
equipment is used for longer periods of time and faults often occur that are not detected during shorter uses.
As with any car, sound, lighting and AV systems require regular servicing to maintain reliability. In this way, major failures can be avoided from happening at the most inconvenient time. Our service technicians are qualified to degree level, this coupled with many years of industry experience means we know where to look for vulnerable areas in your installation or system. We have a strict company policy of complete transparency and we will only carry out work if it’s necessary and you agree. For one-off fault fixing, a callout charge is the only price you agree to pay over the phone; after the technician has arrived they will asses if the job will take more than half an hour and advise you before they start work. The callout and hourly rate system is ideal if you have a current fault and need it fixed but a better solution long term is to put in place a regular service schedule for your venue or system. We can integrate tests nto your service that are required under most venue licences including portable appliance electrical tests (PAT test) and noise limitation.
